Que. Derive the condition of maximum efficiency for a DC generator.
Ans. Condition for maximum efficiency for a DC generator and for a DC motor is same
Generator input = Output + Total losses
Efficiency will be maximum when denomination will be maximum
The load current corresponding to maximum efficiency is given by the relation
